Key Players of DER/Microgrid

Perspective is defined as “a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.

The collective perspective of utilities, oil and gas producers, policymakers and additional energy stakeholders is disjointed when it comes to the use of distributed energy resources and micorgrids. The outcome of this study will depend upon the varying perspectives and what shapes those perspectives.

This study has been written from four different perspectives in an effort to share the unique advantages of DER/microgrids. Each perspective is important and tells a part of the story that makes up the energy industry. It will be imperative for all interested parties to work together in finding solutions to current energy challenges in an effort to secure Oklahoma’s energy future for future generations.
